Available Resources
As I mentioned in the first blog post, Alaqua Animal Refuge is very near and dear to my heart. There is so much work being done at Alaqua to make the world a better place and more importantly, make life even better for the animals who live there. Their website goes to say that, “Alaqua Animal Refuge is a place of healing, where animals who have been victims of abuse and neglect come to mend their broken bodies and spirits”. They house over 350 animals with daily tours to see them. They also provide children’s education programs that teach kids how to respect life in all forms. The website nicely outlines available articles to educate on the adoption process and animal care. All you need to know is where to go and what to print, and alaqua has it covered. I will include a list on how to help but if you go to the website there will be links for each option. Take affirmative action!
